Thank you Jo Korte Branscome and Bond County Democratic Central Committee for supporting The Sunshine Box at Breehne Park. The items are much needed and the monetary gift will go a long way to feed families.

What a fun evening! We passed our paintings around the table so we all contributed to each one. 🖌️🎨

The ☀️ Sunshine Box ☀️ is officially open! This project has been coming together behind the scenes for a few years, and we're excited to see it come to life. Thank you to the BCCU2 High School industrial arts class for building the box for us, and to Kingsbury Park District for doing the work of pouring the concrete and setting the box for us.

You'll find the box stocked with books, food, hygiene items, crafts, and games. We hope it spreads a little sunshine in the community.
