Greenville Artists:
I’d like to have an Artist meeting feb 25th. It’s a ways off but I want to be sure to reach everyone, from youth leaders, GU, school, up to local artists.

We have so many wonderful circles of performing arts, visual arts,etc, but we all seem to not connect. I believe we are missing valuable opportunities to support each other.

If you can, either comment below if you want to be invited/reminded, or any local artists you know of that I should reach out to and connect with.

Some of our BCat kids went over to Clinton County Showcase for their first Technical Workshop. They learned about costumes, stage management, and set design. Thanks Clinton County Showcase for offering this!

Our Common Ground and Bond County Area Theater is looking to add more board members! We currently have President, Vice President and Treasurer, in a few months our Treasurer will be stepping down.

Our Common Ground has a rich history in Greenville, having supported Arts in Education and starting the Art Walk. 5 years ago, Heather Edwards and Elisabeth Ward started Bond County Area Theater under OCG. In that time, the focus of OCG became the youth summer musical. The board needs new members to build on the the rich history, but see the vision for the future of Performing Arts in Bond County.

BCat's mission is to bring accessible theater to all kids in Bond County.

We would love to have local performing artists join us; Theater, Arts and Dance. We would also love to have parents of aspiring artists join us. We meet 4 times a year. But we would love to have more involvement with the BCat summer musical and are open to other events.
