A huge thank you to WGEL for shining a spotlight on the Bond County Salvation Army and the work we do throughout our community. As they shared, we do way more than ring the bells at Christmas! 🔔

From helping local families in times of need to supporting our community throughout the year, we’re grateful for every opportunity to serve Bond County.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU Bond County!! The crowd that came to our cookout today was over the top! We can now start helping out our families again. Thank you also to Sissy, PJ, Jeff, Darrell, Susan and sweet boys, Jane, Tony and Joy. Such a great day and even better cause. "Need knows no season in Bond County"

The The Salvation Army has officially run out of funds for the year, and right now families in our community are counting on us more than ever.

Join us for the Wes Pourchot & Friends Cookout this Friday, May 29th, and help us continue providing assistance to local families in need right here in Bond County. Every plate purchased, every share, and every bit of support truly makes a difference.

This community has always come together during hard times — and we’re believing we can do it again. Come out for good food, great people, and an even greater cause. ❤️
