Ryana, 2026 KPB Young Ambassador graduate, stopped by to visit us yesterday at the Roots and Branches Institute at John Rudy York County Park where we’re connecting with educators interested in implementing environmental literacy in the classroom. A big shout out to Laura Rinehimer, EPCAMR Watershed Education and Outreach Specialist, for staffing the booth and promoting our education programs including Open Your Eyes to Litter, Young Ambassadors, Litter Hawk, and more!

Our Community Pride Award was recently given to Beth Intoccia of the Litter Lifters of West Vincent. Beth's compassion, drive, and care for the natural world makes her an incredibly deserving recipient of our award. Thank you Senator Katie Muth for recognizing her dedication! I presented the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Community Pride Award to Beth Intoccia of the Litter Lifters of West Vincent at last night’s West Vincent Township Board of Supervisors meeting.

Since 2020, Beth’s leadership has helped grow the Litter Lifters into a volunteer force of more than 100 community members, removing over 1,400 bags of litter from roads, parks, streams, and open spaces across Chester County.

Congratulations, Beth, on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you to all of the Litter Lifters volunteers who work tirelessly to keep our communities clean, beautiful, and welcoming for everyone.
