Did your invitation get lost in the mail? There is still time to get involved! If your department or agency would like to participate in this year’s festival, we would love to have you join us. Bring a cruiser, fire apparatus, ambulance, specialty vehicle, equipment, informational table or simply come out and represent your agency and meet the community!

Yesterday, FCPC had the pleasure of joining the South County Senior Center for their annual Car Show at Sunderland Elementary School! 🚗✨

This is always one of our cadets’ favorite annual events, and they were excited to help with parking, traffic, and community engagement throughout the day.

They had a great time checking out all of the incredible cars, lending a hand where needed, and connecting with members of the community. Thank you to the South County Senior Center for having us, our cadets are already looking forward to next year!

At the Franklin County Police Cadet Program, we are fortunate to have some of the finest advisors dedicated to supporting, mentoring, and guiding our cadets. Their commitment and leadership play a vital role in the success of our program.

For the 2026 Police Cadet Academy, our cadets were accompanied by five of our FCPC advisors throughout the week.

Thank you to Cpl. Milton Rock, Det. Alyssa Ippolito, Chief Jason Haskins, Sgt. Lee Laster, and Sgt. William Salifu-Tex, as well as their respective departments, for allowing them the opportunity to mentor and support our cadets at the Academy.

🎓 Congratulations to our 2026 NERLEEA Police Cadet Academy graduates!

This week, seven of our cadets successfully completed the Academy and we couldn’t be prouder of everything they accomplished. A special congratulations to newly appointed Cadet Captain, Tommy Nutting, on the “Officer of the Week” award for the Mock PD Program.

We’re proud of our four senior cadets, who returned to the Academy after graduating in previous years and continuing to lead by example.

We are especially proud and wish to recognize our three junior cadets, who took on the challenge of the Academy for the very first time and represented our program exceptionally well.

Without the support and partnership of our local public safety agencies, the Cadet Program wouldn’t be possible. As a regional program, we’re fortunate to have dedicated professionals from departments across the area who invest their time, knowledge, and experience in our cadets.

Today was Dignitary Day at the Police Cadet Academy, and we were honored to welcome Sheriff Lori Streeter and Superintendent Jason Kilgour. We sincerely appreciate them taking the time to visit and support our program. We’re proud of our ongoing partnership and grateful to provide our cadets the opportunity to learn from some of the region’s most respected leaders in law enforcement. 🚔⭐️

We also wish to extend our sincere thanks to Chief Jon Hall and Sergeant Oleg Cobileanschi of Northfield, Police Department for being there to support FCPC.

We got to catch up with four of our senior cadets who are participating in the Mock Police Department Program at the NERLEEA Cadet Police Academy!

The Mock PD Program immerses cadets in realistic law enforcement scenarios where they respond to calls for service, make critical decisions, conduct investigations, and experience the day to day responsibilities of policing. 🚓🚨
