The Grange is a national network of state, regional, and local community groups, founded during the latter part of the 19th century for the purpose of promoting the spiritual and social well-being of farm families. In 1873 Greenfield farmers organized the first Grange in Massachusetts, our local Guiding Star Grange #1, not far from our present building. Many dancers and musicians in our area are m

embers of the Grange, whose mission has broadened to encompass many facets of community enrichment. Guiding Star Grange #1 meets on the second Tuesday of each Month at 7p. Until further notice our monthly meeting will be at 7:30 via Zoom. To "attend"request the link at [email protected]

Bringing in the new year with a new sound system!
It was voted that:
Brother Jesse Ball to spearhead the drive to design and install a replacement for the old system which so many have depended on for many years. Our old system has been a huge asset for events at Guiding Star Grange but the components have aged to the point where they are no longer supported by the manufacturer. Tomorrow, December 30 the plan is to finish the install just in time for our big New Years celebration with potluck and dance on Wednesday!
Here are some shots of the crew

Planning for the next steps is underway!
