It's that time of year again!
Every fall, Cub Scouts learn some of their most meaningful lessons in the simplest of ways—standing outside a store, smiling, and bravely asking strangers if they’d like to support their pack.
Whether people say yes or no, every interaction teaches confidence, communication, resilience, and respect. These kids are trying so hard, and even a kind “No thank you” helps them grow.
If you see a Scout at a storefront this season, I hope you’ll take a moment to stop, listen, and encourage them. Your 10 seconds might be the highlight of their day.
