Teams can only be formed if we have a volunteer coach!

As we prepare for our fall season, we wanted to share an update on team availability.

We had limited interest in forming new teams this season. Because Junior Bulldogs is a volunteer-run organization, we can only create teams when we have a dedicated volunteer coach. Without volunteer coaches, we are unable to form additional teams.

Many of our returning teams are full, as players and coaches often choose to continue playing together from season to season.

These team openings are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a team reaches capacity, registration will close.

If Junior Bulldogs secures additional volunteer coaches for football, soccer, or volleyball, we will continue to post updates on ParentSquare and our page as new teams become available.

Interested in making a difference? Please consider volunteering as a coach! Our program is entirely volunteer-run, and every new coach allows us to create another team, giving more students the opportunity to play alongside their classmates and friends.

Hey Junior Bulldog Community!

We've had several new families join our page and have received questions about how a student can join a Junior Bulldogs team.

All Junior Bulldogs spring and fall teams are formed through Greeley Recreation and rely on parent volunteer coaches. Before registration opens, we put out a "Call for Coaches." Once a coach volunteers, Greeley Rec helps establish practice details and provides a registration code.
Coaches are then given the opportunity to share the registration link with returning players from their previous team first. Any remaining openings are shared with the Junior Bulldogs community and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Some teams may fill quickly.

Junior Bulldogs does not hold tryouts. We believe every student should have the opportunity to play and be part of a team.

If you don't see a team for your child's age group or a specific sport, it's usually because we were unable to find a volunteer coach. If openings become available, we will post them as soon as possible.

Interested in coaching? Please email us. We are always in need to volunteer coaches. Coaching typically includes two practices per week and one weekend game for about 8-10 weeks. It is a commitment, but it is incredibly rewarding and a great way to support our student-athletes.
