We are thankful for the continued support from the The Weld Trust

The Weld Trust has granted The Mexica Center $100,000 for its youth athletic program. This money provides boxing memberships for youth ages 4-18. These classes offer recreational opportunities for kids in a safe, supervised environment.

The program that started it all, Azteca Boxing Club is still going strong as ever! Training for youth and adults Monday through Thursday. If you’re looking for a great sport to keep the kids busy this summer or you looking to join the competition team come check them out! Adults as well l, if you are looking to get fit or take it to the next level this is the place to be!

One of the great programs being hosted at the center is our BREAKING CHAINS recovery group! So much hope and freedom is being found here. It is a free program for men and woman 18+

Here at the community center one of the newer programs is our youth mentorship for male and females. Our mentors Jose and Jeremiah have really been seeing a lot of engagement and trust building with the youth males. This past week they build some pretty cool derby cars.

Our female mentor Arlene did a cool exercise where she had the girls read a verse and then draw a picture to illustrate what they read! Overall the groups are running great!
