A big thank you to Will Costello of the Loveland Reporter-Herald for spreading the news of our new PowerUp! class in Aims Community College's College for Kids program. We're proudly empowering 9 to 12-year-olds with fun life skill lessons and games throughout June in many locations including Fort Lupton, Windsor, and Greeley. These life skills will help them form paths to happy, healthy, successful lives. Program production was made possible by funding from The Weld Trust and this summer program was sponsored by Weld Community Credit Union.

Hear from folks involved in a successful, innovative community youth empowerment program launch! Volunteers enjoyed working with middle schoolers to build their confidence and help them learn crucial life skills using the nonprofit PowerUp Co-Ed program’s video-based lessons, activities, and games as well as providing interactive demonstrations of hobbies and careers. The kids had a great time, which benefits their future and their community!

Early life skill learning promotes mental, social, and behavioral wellness, resilience, safety, equality, healthy relationships, happiness, and academic and life success. PowerUp Co-Ed also provides specific tools for today’s common issues for youth and can be used with tweens and teens by youth orgs, schools, counselors, mentorships, and faith-based and parent groups.
