Have you been waiting for a sign that it's time to get rid of that car you don't need? You can make some room and donate a vehicle to support people experiencing homelessness in Nevada County. Hospitality House works with CarEasy to make donating your vehicle easy and benefit our neighbors in need. CarEasy will pick up your vehicle, provide free towing, and handle the rest.

Whether you are trying to clean up your yard, avoid expensive repairs, or just looking to give from your heart, this is a great way to give back to your community, and your gift is tax-deductible*.

It's a joy to collaborate with Western Sierra Medical Clinic and Partnership HealthPlan of California who share our mission to serve our homeless neighbors! Thanks to Western Sierra Medical Clinic and CEO Jennifer Malone who generously hosted a Bill's Chuckwagon BBQ Catering dinner for all the guests on Friday!

The Pet Food Drive is tomorrow! From 8 AM to 12 PM, you can bring pet food donations to 851 Sutton Way in Grass Valley to feed the homeless pets at Hospitality House and Animal Save.

The most needed at the emergency shelter is Blue Buffalo Life Protection Large Breed Chicken and Brown Rice Formula for dogs, if you are looking for suggestions 🐾.

We have a special request today for the dogs staying at the emergency shelter. The pavement is hot, and some booties to protect furry feet would be appreciated.

We need a variety of sizes, from Small to X-large, and have added some to our Amazon Wishlist linked below. We are not particular about which ones you choose to donate if you have a favorite your dog likes to wear. 😊🐾🐾

This coming Saturday, August 8, is the Pet Food Drive benefiting the animals of Hospitality House and Animal Save. It is being hosted by the High Sierra Corvette Club. Go say hello and bring some pet food to help keep the animals of Nevada County who are in transition fed. 851 Sutton Way, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Students from the Class of 2030 at the UC Davis School of Medicine visited the shelter recently for a tour. The fun and energetic crew rolled up their sleeves to help with the deep cleaning of Utah's Place during their visit and were a joy to be around. We are so thankful for the support!

Joe Wilson at PG&E has been a big supporter of Hospitality House. He has spent time with his team in the kitchen making his famous chili for guests and has also recommended grant funding to support the emergency shelter. He met with Debbie at Empire Commons last week to see the progress made at our newest permanent housing location.
