We had such a sweet time with our Junior 1 campers this past week! We saw multiple salvations decisions made as they went on their African expedition. We can’t wait to see what God will do with the rest of the summer!

As we served these families through services, food, and fun, relationship-focused activities, we cherished the opportunity to provide tools to help strengthen relationships both between our campers and also with Christ.

Meet our Staff Monday!

Mr. Zach joined our staff here at Wolf Mountain Camps in 2019. God introduced him to camp ministry in January of 2019 when he attended our Senior High Retreat. During that retreat, God laid it upon his heart to serve. Mr. Zach first joined our team as a Bridge to Campus student, following that into our Life Institute program, and then joined us fully as a Resident Staff Intern. Since joining us, Mr. Zach has served in many important areas around camp. He has served as a counselor in the summer as well as worked in kitchen, grounds, program, and for the last few years, hospitality. Mr. Zach enjoys hiking and astronomy, which made him a perfect fit to run our Night Sky class during our custom C.O.R.E. camps, teaching kids about a unique part of God's creation. In his off time, he enjoys watching sports and also learning. This past year, Mr. Zach has felt God calling him to pursue higher education. With this education, his prayer is to eventually serve in a foreign mission field. While we will miss having him here as part of our staff team, we look forward to hearing how God will use him in ministries in other parts of the world. Meet Our Staff Monday!

The Olson family joined Wolf Mountain Camps in 2023. After graduating from Bible college, Mr. Andy was hired by a church in Oregon, which just so happened to be the church where he grew up. There he served for 17 years on the Church and Christian school staff and for 15 of those years as the Youth Pastor. Mrs. Andrea, originally from Philadelphia, met Mr. Andy and began working at the school and church after they were married. During their time there, an evangelist friend shared with Mr. Andy the idea of serving in camp ministry. After spending much time seeking the Lord’s will, they made the difficult decision to say goodbye to the youth group and church family they loved and moved their family from Oregon to Northern California to begin serving at camp. They serve in multiple, important areas that keep camp running smoothly. Mr. Andy is on our program team, acting as the head of our Teen Camp program in the summer, as well as serving as one of our custom camp coordinators. Mrs. Andrea is in charge of Hospitality and Stomping Grounds, which is camp's delicious coffee shop. They have three children - Ana, Dan, and Joe. The whole family loves staying active, exploring, and having adventures together. Mr. Andy has lived overseas and enjoys kayaking, riding motorcycles, and off-roading. Mrs. Andrea loves coffee and cleaning, and has recently developed a love for gardening. Ana loves reading and writing short stories and is currently working on her first chapter book. She enjoys being outdoors, helping in different areas around camp, and baking. Dan enjoys sports, especially soccer. He is adventurous and loves LEGO. Meet Our Staff Monday!

The Moore family joined Wolf Mountains Camps in January of 2011. Mr. Jon started working at camp at the age of 14. Even though his summer was full of late nights and very early mornings, he loved it. He knew God was calling him to camp within the next couple years and continued working camp summers at various camps. After graduating college, he was accepted into a camp internship program at Ironwood for its first year of operation. Mrs. Audrey spent a summer counseling after her sophomore year in college. She went back the next two summers, and joined the same internship program (in its second year of operation) after graduating college. Mr. Jon and Mrs. Audrey both fell in love with serving in camp ministry before they fell in love with each other. The rest is history. Mr. Jon serves as Wolf Mountain's Camp's executive director. Along with this responsibility, he remains very hands-on in multiple areas around camp. Mrs. Audrey is the administrator for the staff kids' school. She also is in charge of and maintains our website and all camp designs, as well as heads our custom camp contracting. They have three children. Their oldest, Brooklynn, loves to read. Her favorite series is Anne of Green Gables, and her favorite authors include Louisa May Alcott, Janette Oke, and most recently J.R. Tolkien since she just started into The Hobbit. Ellie, their second oldest, enjoys crafts. She has enjoyed learning and making small things with epoxy (like keychains). She also likes to crochet. Many people would know of her battle with leukemia when she was a baby. This summer, she'll pass the 10-year mark in remission. Their youngest, JJ, is enamored with Dude Perfect. Though many assume his name is Jon, Jr., it's not. His first name is Joseph and his middle name is Janner, from a family favorite book series - The Wingfeather Saga. He loves to pretend to be shy, but he's been a talker since he was 2 years old. To see how you can support this staff family, follow the link below!

Summer registration is open!

Junior Camp 1, 3, and 4 have plenty of space for girls and boys. Junior Camp 2 only has a few boy spots left, and Teen Camp 1 is currently our only Teen Camp with space available. While availability is subject to change, spots will continue to fill up fast!
