Our SAFL GR team is excited to welcome more believers to the sidewalk in the now year round prayer vigil - 40 Days for Life 365. We are praying that more churches will step up and make the commitment to adopt a half day once a month to pray to end abortion at Planned Parenthood Irwin Martin. Prayer is the foundation of every Kingdom victory for LIFE. We believe that as God’s people pray, chains will break and physical and spiritual LIFE will result.

The 40 Days for Life - Grand Rapids location is stepping out in prayer and embracing "365" ... a program of year-round prayer in front of Planned Parenthood, the last, freestanding surgical abortion facility in our city.

There are many common threads that run through the stories of former abortion workers.

One of them is that these workers describe a period of genuine belief, or at least a perceived belief, that they were "helping women." The stories consistently describe an internal rationalizing process ("saving children from bad lives," "giving women a choice") that they later characterize as self-deception or industry indoctrination. The discomfort never fully went away, but the culture of the clinic kept it suppressed.

The culture of abortion clinics is designed to keep any moral reasoning out of the equation.
