This is a massive week for VFW Riders Group TX-19, and we are honored to be hosting the Texas State VFW Riders Group Fall All-State Meeting right here at our home post, Benbrook Memorial Post 10429 VFW! 🏍️💨

We have a fantastic lineup of weekend events, and BOTH nights are open to the public! Bring your family, friends, and neighbors down to 1000 Stevens Drive to support our veterans, enjoy some incredible food, and hit the dance floor.

Here is what’s on the radar for this weekend:

🍔 FRIDAY NIGHT: Burger Night & Live Music

• Food: Juicy, fresh-cooked burgers served hot from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
• Entertainment: The legendary Lonesome Fugitive will be rocking the stage live!
• Who: Open to the Public! Come hungry!

🐟 SATURDAY NIGHT: Fish Fry & Live Music

• Food: Our famous Saturday Night Fish Fry kicks off with food served from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM (Canteen opens at 4:00 PM).
• Entertainment: Retro Soundbox will be in the house bringing the ultimate hits and dance vibes!
• Who: Open to the Public!

Let's work hard this week and get ready for an unforgettable weekend of camaraderie, great food, and support for our Texas VFW Riders.

Flip-flops on her feet, Texas in her heart, and an unwavering passion for our heroes. 👣🇨🇱❤️

Saturday night was one for the books! Our Benbrook Auxiliary 10429 threw a surprise appreciation dinner to celebrate our incredible Department of Texas Auxiliary President, Shawn Terry, during her birthday weekend.

From her foundational days at Granbury 7835 to taking a leap of faith to start our Benbrook Auxiliary chapter, Shawn embodies what it means to lead with a servant's heart. We are so proud to watch her lead at the state level this year, truly "Stepping Forward to Continue Our Mission for Veterans."

We hope you had a happy birthday and felt the love of from all if us, Shawn, and thank you for your unmatched leadership!

We can’t wait to see what the rest of this year has in store. 🥂✨

We are so excited to share with you our revamped, renovated, rejuvenated website. You will still find information about out 11 National Programs, how to join, the National President's video message, our National Line Officers' headshots, event dates and details, scholarships applications, VFW Auxiliary Magazine archives, Auxiliaries in Action, member benefits and more, but in an easier-to-use format and eye-catching style with accessibility features.

The new website should work better on both mobile and desktop and features recent photographs of VFW Auxiliary members at work in all fifty states, Guam, Panama, the Philippines, Thailand and France, each of which were member-submitted and/or posted publicly to social media using hashtags like or so we could easily find them.
