๐Ÿ โค๏ธ A fresh start after tragedy.

When one of our clients lost his home and beloved dogs in an electrical fire earlier this year, he faced the difficult task of rebuilding his life. Through the support of our team and community partners, he was able to secure an apartment, obtain furniture and essential household items, and begin settling into his new home.

His case manager worked alongside him every step of the way, connecting him to resources and helping him navigate the transition. Stories like this remind us how important community support can be during life's most challenging moments. โ˜บ๏ธ

๐ŸŽ‰ The numbers are in for Fiscal Year 2026! We trained more than 560 people in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)!

Every person trained is one more person equipped to recognize the signs of mental health and substance use challenges, start supportive conversations, and connect others to help. Together, we're building a more informed, compassionate community. ๐Ÿ’š

Today is the BIG day โ€” North Texas Giving Day! And itโ€™s also the last day to donate.

In 2025 alone, we touched the lives of more than 11,000 people! Nearly 70 percent of the individuals we serve have no dedicated funding source, which means community support makes a real difference.

You can help individuals and families across our communities access mental health services and intellectual and developmental disability support. Your generosity helps ensure no one has to face lifeโ€™s challenges alone.

In much of our rural service area, Pecan Valley Centers Veteran Services is the only resource for veterans. Since 2025, we've put more than $450,000 directly into the hands of veterans facing mental health challenges and financial hardship, helping them pay their rent and mortgage, utilities, transportation costs, food, and medical bills.

Additional funding can help us make an even greater impact. $1,000 covers a mortgage payment or several months of utilities. $5,000 can get an entire family completely caught up on their bills. Your donation through North Texas Giving Day goes straight to rural veterans and their families!
