Throughout the month of May, Orenda Counseling Services hosted a diaper collection bin at their office, helping gather much-needed diapers for local families served by the Ozaukee Baby Bank. Their generosity and commitment to supporting parents and caregivers in our community will make a meaningful difference for families facing diaper need.

🚧✨ Exciting progress is happening at the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center! ✨🚧

One of the most exciting updates to our building renovation is officially in place—the new garage doors have been installed! These doors will create a seamless connection between the ONC and our future Eco Wellness Space, making it easier than ever to bring programs, events, and community gatherings outdoors.

We're one step closer to creating an innovative space where nonprofits, community partners, and residents can connect, learn, and thrive—both inside and out.

We can't wait to share more updates as construction continues. Thank you to everyone who has supported this exciting transformation. The future of the ONC is looking brighter every day! 🌿

🍓We're excited to support families attending Strawberry Festival this year! 🍓

The Ozaukee Nonprofit Center recently donated diapers, wipes, changing pads, and hand sanitizer to the Festivals of Cedarburg for their Family Oasis at Strawberry Festival on June 27 & 28.

Whether you're attending with a little one or spending the day enjoying all the festival has to offer, the Family Oasis will be available to help make your visit a little more comfortable.

We're grateful for the opportunity to partner with Festivals of Cedarburg to support local families and help ensure parents have access to essential items when they need them.

We are excited to introduce Jen, our new Campus Operations and Client Services Coordinator.

In her role, Jen will help ensure the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center remains a welcoming, efficient, and collaborative space for the many nonprofits, partners, and community members we serve. From supporting daily campus operations to assisting our nonprofit tenants and visitors, Jen will play an important role in helping the ONC fulfill its mission.

We are thrilled to have Jen join our team and look forward to the experience, enthusiasm, and dedication she will bring to the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center.

💙 Thank You, St. John Lutheran Church Lakefield! 💙

We are incredibly grateful to St. John Lutheran Church Lakefield for their participation in this year's A Month For Moms: Baby Bank Raffle benefiting the Ozaukee Baby Bank.

Through the generosity of their congregation, they collected an amazing 929 diapers and 244 wipes to help support local families with young children. 👶🍼

Every diaper and wipe donated helps ensure that families throughout Ozaukee County have access to essential items that are not covered by most assistance programs. Community support like this makes a meaningful difference in the lives of parents and caregivers facing financial challenges.

Thank you to everyone at St. John Lutheran Church Lakefield for your generosity, compassion, and commitment to supporting families in our community. Together, we are helping little ones thrive! 💙

This month the ONC would like to spotlight one of our partner agency members, Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County.

Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County helps enable seniors and individuals with disabilities to remain independent in their home. Their services include transportation, companionship, friendly phone calls, and respite visits. There are over 60,000 total miles driven per year and over 120 volunteers enrolled.

This month we are honored to recognize Nina Gutmanis as our Star of the Month. Nina has been a valued member of Independence First for over four years, consistently demonstrating dedication, compassion, and a commitment to serving people with disabilities. Over the past six months, Nina has focused her time and energy on growing agency services out of our Grafton office located within the ONC, and she has embraced this new role with incredible enthusiasm and passion.

Nina is creative, driven, and deeply committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of the consumers we serve. She approaches every challenge with positivity and determination, always looking for innovative ways to expand services and improve access for individuals in the community. Her passion for Independence First’s mission is evident in the relationships she builds and the care she puts into her work every day.

Nina’s dedication, leadership, and heart make her truly deserving of recognition as Star of the Month.

🎉 Congratulations to Diana Eggold, the winner of our A Month For Moms: Baby Bank Raffle! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets, donated diapers and wipes, hosted collection bins, and helped spread the word throughout the month of May. Because of your incredible support, the A Month For Moms: Baby Bank Raffle raised an incredible $5,945 for the Ozaukee Baby Bank while also collecting much-needed supplies for local families in our community.

Diana is taking home a portion of our amazing raffle prize and donating the rest back to the ONC! But the real winners are the babies and families who will benefit from the diapers, wipes, and financial support generated through this campaign.

We are so grateful to our sponsors, community partners, donors, and everyone who participated. Together, you're helping ensure local families have access to essential resources when they need them most. ❤️👶🧷

This remarkable gift will help us continue providing essential diapers, wipes, and other baby necessities to local families while expanding our ability to meet the growing needs of our community.
