Daisy’s Story 🤍

When Daisy was born, she looked absolutely perfect-but within her first day of life, everything changed. While I was holding her, she suddenly turned blue in my arms. She was rushed to the NICU, where we learned she was having seizures and would be transferred to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.

After countless tests, doctors discovered Daisy had suffered a severe brain bleed. Even today, we still don’t know why it happened. We spent nearly three weeks in the NICU, celebrating every tiny victory until we were finally able to bring our sweet girl home.

Today, Daisy is almost 6 months old. She is the happiest little girl with the biggest smile. She is starting PT, OT, and developmental therapy as she continues to work through challenges with her motor skills and vision. She is so strong, determined, and inspires us every single day.

Our family’s journey has looked very different than we ever imagined, but we’re so grateful for the incredible care Daisy received at Vanderbilt and for the Brady Wynn Foundation. Their generosity has helped lift a weight off our shoulders during one of the hardest seasons of our lives.

It’s all because of YOU, Brady Boo 💙

We received another application this week. It’s always bitter sweet, knowing we get to help but knowing too well the feelings this family is currently experiencing.

When Brady died, I never imagined his story would become a source of hope for other parents walking through the unimaginable.

Today, because of this community, we’ve been able to support 43 families navigating life-threatening neurological diagnoses and heartbreaking loss. Through meals, groceries, care packages, massage therapy, grief support, and simply showing up, we’ve reminded families that they are not alone.

This foundation has never been about numbers.

It’s about the mom who finally felt seen.
The dad who could take a deep breath.
The siblings who knew they weren’t forgotten.
The babies whose lives, no matter how brief, mattered deeply.

Every family we serve carries a story. Every act of kindness honors Brady.

Thank you for believing in this mission, for sharing our posts, volunteering, donating, and walking alongside us.

These are the moments that stop me in my tracks.

The “pinch me” moments.

The reminders of why Brady Wynn Foundation exists.

When families first come to us, they’re often in the middle of the unimaginable- living hour by hour, carrying fear, uncertainty, and exhaustion. To later watch those same babies laugh, and continue writing their stories is an incredible gift.

Not every family’s journey ends this way, and we carry those precious babies in our hearts every single day.

This is why we do what we do.

To walk beside families in their hardest days… and to celebrate with them in their brightest ones.

Watching these babies grow brings me so much joy I could cry… and if you’ve come to know me at all, you know I don’t cry.💙(still working on that 🙃)
