We had a great time at the Ozaukee Senior Conference today. We met several potential volunteers and enjoyed speaking to seniors about how our services can help their loved one. There were speakers on a wide range of topics including smartphones, dementia, gardening, cardio drumming, estate planning and much more. If you're a senior in Oz County, we highly recommend checking out this conference next year.

We brought lunch for 5 staff members at Wilo last Friday to celebrate their volunteerism with Interfaith. These wonderful volunteers drive our clients to their medical appts and other essential errands. You may have noticed one of our vans parked in the Wilo lot so these employees can easily volunteer for Interfaith. Thanks to Wilo for their support of our program and the seniors in Ozaukee County!! Pictured from left to right are Wilo employees Jeff, Stephanie, Michele, Lindsey and Curley along with Interfaith's AmeriCorps Seniors Program Director Denise Loveridge and Executive Director Paul Schultz.

Exciting news for ANF Ozaukee. We've only been in existence for 6 weeks, but things are starting to gel. New FB page, New IG page this weekend - but much more.

Since our kickoff meeting on March 8th, Michael Mann and I (John Norman) have had several in person meetings with non-profits and individuals around Ozaukee County. We're working hard to build relationships and our library of opportunities. Portal, Inc. Balance, Interfaith Caregivers, NAMI Ozaukee, Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin, Heaven's Gait... and more!

Just this week we were invited to speak at the Ozaukee Non Profit Center's monthly executive meeting. It was so exciting to share ANF's vision and our new service club. Believe me when I say - there will not be a lack of opportunities for our Army to serve (as much or as little as you're able).

This page is another exciting development. Please share it with your friends. We'll be using this as another tool for sharing news about ANF Ozaukee in a form we're all used to.

Stay tuned - and please share!

Everyone in Ozaukee should consider being part of this service club - No Requirements (Do what you can when you can), service opportunities, community building and empowering others.
