Did you know that nearly 13 million Americans provide unpaid care for people with Alzheimer's or other dementias? In 2025, unpaid caregivers provided more than 19 billion hours of care valued at over $ 446 billion. Alzheimer's Association provides a 24/7 Helpline to these individuals to be able to speak with a dementia expert for confidential support, crisis assistance, local resources, and information. Every step brings us closer to a world without Alzheimer's.

Ascension Impact Initiative is proud to participate in the **Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's** in Ascension Parish on Saturday, November 21, and we're inviting our family, friends, neighbors, and community partners to join us in making a difference.

As we wrap up our project with Ascension Community Theatre, we're sharing a few final moments from our exit interview reflecting on the impact of helping organize and inventory their massive prop collection.
