Congratulations to our June Home of the Month in Alton! The homeowner has lovingly transformed the landscape over the past 28 years into a tranquil outdoor living space.
The whimsical use of upcycled tiffany lampshades, reclaimed wooden windows, and many other treasures create a unique and beautiful outdoor extension of her home.
We appreciate all you do to keep Alton beautiful. Please share.

A huge thank you to the amazing volunteers who helped bring fresh color and community pride to the Broadway corridor with beautiful new Earth Planters filled with flowers and foliage, plus American flags lining the street just in time for Flag Day.

It’s one more reminder that small acts of service can make a big, visible difference.

Something beautiful is taking root along Broadway.

Pride, Inc., in collaboration with Great Rivers & Routes and the City of Alton, is helping bring new Self-Watering EarthPlanters to the downtown corridor. These colorful planters are designed to add lasting floral beauty while helping flowers stay healthier and more vibrant throughout the season.

As you make your way through downtown Alton, keep an eye out for these new additions and let us know when you spot one.

A little preparation today can make a big visual impact across downtown Alton.

Volunteers recently worked together to assemble American flags that will be displayed along Broadway for Flag Day. It is one more way Pride Beautification is helping bring color, character, and community spirit to the places we all share.

Keep an eye out for the flags as you travel through downtown, and take a moment to enjoy the view.

Because loving where we live sometimes looks like rolling up our sleeves and making the community a little more beautiful, one flag at a time.

Sometimes civic pride is found in the big projects. Other times, it is found in a few pots of petunias, quietly tended by someone who simply wants their community to look its best. For the past 6 years, board member John Meehan has taken ownership of a tradition started years ago by Dale and Carol Neudecker, creating a welcoming sight for travelers through our train station.
A true labor of love, and Pride!
