On this extra hot, crisp morning, many came together to support themselves, their loved ones, and our community at the Compton Cancer Walk.
This morning, our chapter walked in honor of our very own member and breast cancer survivor, Connie Jackson. I’m also sending lots of love to another survivor, Marilyn King, and keeping Lisa Mack close in our thoughts and prayers. Together, we walk in strength, love, hope, and remembrance.

Today, the TNBC So-Cal Chapter had the honor of attending the National Remembrance for Murder Victims Community Street Fair.
We were proudly honored to accept an award from Lawanda Hawkins and her organization in appreciation for our support throughout the years
We would like to thank everyone who has supported our fundraisers through ticket and table purchases and donations. Your generosity allows us to continue giving back to our community.

Standing amidst these rows of shoes, each representing a life tragically cut short, is a haunting reminder of the victims we’ve lost. Each pair of shoe were worn by the victims. As I listen to the nearly 200 names of children and adults being called, the pain hits especially close to home knowing our own Richard Teems lost his father to this senseless violence.
