Happy Mother's Day!
She woke before the sun
not because she had to—
but because love doesn’t sleep
when there are dreams to protect.
Her hands learned the language of sacrifice,
soft enough to cradle broken hearts,
strong enough to carry the weight
of worlds no one ever saw her holding.
There were days she bent—
not from weakness,
but from storms that tried
to teach her how to break.
Still, she stood.
Still, she rose.
She stitched hope into empty spaces,
turned silence into comfort,
and made a home out of whatever was left
when life tried to take too much.
Her beauty was never loud—
it lived in tired eyes that still smiled,
in the quiet grace of doing everything
and asking for nothing.
She is endurance wrapped in warmth,
grace wrapped in resilience,
a heartbeat that never learned
how to give up.
Even when her own soul felt heavy,
she carried others like they were light.
Even when her voice trembled,
her love never did.
And if you listen closely,
you’ll hear it—
in every whispered prayer,
in every late-night worry,
in every “I’m okay”
she said when she wasn’t.
This is her power:
to love beyond exhaustion,
to give beyond reason,
to remain whole
while pouring herself into everyone else.
So today—
on this day that tries to hold
all that she is—
We don’t just celebrate her.
We stand in awe of her.
Because a mother
is not just a woman—
She is strength with a heartbeat,
she is grace in motion,
she is love…
in its most unbreakable form.
