Little Bears Playhouse A Community Non-Profit Learning Center Little Bears Playhouse, Inc.

is a non-profit early childhood learning center serving the families of Girdwood and the Four Valleys area. We believe children need a positive self-concept, a safe healthy environment and opportunities for self-discovery, socialization and creativity. Our goal is to provide children under our care with these opportunities through a child-centered program. Hands-on experiences allow children to express themselves as individuals and to expand their ideas about the world around them. We have designed a program and daily schedule for your child that provides the appropriate balance between early education, which prepares your child for their education career, and free play time, which allows opportunity for children to foster friendships and develop life skills.

Wondering what a Full Day of GAP looks like....

Well join us on October 16th where the theme of the day is "The Wild Robot"

Students will have a choice of activities:

- Build a shelter out of blocks/cardboard
- Invent your own island creature puppet making
- Robot designing

Two large outdoor gross motor activities: hiking chair 7 or the Nordic Loop and playing in the playground for a total 3 hours (min).

Board games, building projects, crafts and creativity..... there is something for everyone

And don't worry if you are signed up for other after school activities from our fellow nonprofits, GVT will get them from Point A to us at Point B on those days!

We are now offering Drop-In Care and Part-Time Care to meet the needs of our community.
