Libby the Saint Bernard was back at Desert Trails Elementary School - PVSchools to help kick off the new school year! 💙

The students were excited to see her again and jumped right into the day's activities. It didn't take long to remember why Pet Therapy Fridays are something they look forward to each week. 🐶

Pawsitive Friendships has moved on to the next round of the Arizona Financial Credit Union Local Causes Grant Program, and we'd love your support.

The past few months have been busy at the Assure Health Care Grp/All Abilities Tucson locations! 💙🙌🫶

Members spent time with Pearl, Worf, Daphne, Flan, Hadley, Milley, Baxter, Charlie, and welcomed Bea for her very first visit! We focused on sensory processing, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, communication, executive functioning, visual processing, and social participation. There were lots of happy faces every time a therapy pet walked through the door, and we know they'll be excited to see who's visiting next! 🐾

There's never a shortage of smiles when Cody visits RISE Services, Inc.! 🐶💙

Members were excited to spend time with Cody, who happily greeted everyone with his signature high fives and friendly personality. It's always fun to watch the connections he builds during each visit, and we know they'll be looking forward to seeing him again soon.

It's always exciting to see familiar therapy pets back with students as a new school year begins. 💙

At the Foundation for Blind Children, Turtle the Tortoise kicked things off by getting students curious about his unique shell and the leafy greens he brought along for the session. Scout the Goldendoodle brought her calm, sweet personality to the classroom, and the students were so happy to spend time with her again.

We can't wait to see what this school year brings for these students and all of our incredible therapy teams. 🐢🐶

As the inspiration behind the Pawsitive Friendships and the human part of our logo, Caleb's journey has shaped our mission from the very beginning. Watching him grow into an incredible young man has been a constant reminder that, with the right support, encouragement, and opportunities, individuals with special needs can reach their full potential.

His story continues to inspire the work we do every day as we help children and adults build skills, gain confidence, and achieve goals they never thought possible.

It was a fun few weeks at The LEARN Academy with Paco the tortoise, Hector the doodle, and Saki the Mini Schnauzer! 🐢🐶

Students welcomed Hector during his very first visit to The Learn Academy, got to know Paco, and were excited to spend time with Saki again. Throughout their sessions, they worked on sensory processing, coordination, motor skills, and visual processing through goal-based activities.

Earlier this month, our friends at Developmental Enrichment Centers celebrated the Fourth of July with a special visit from their newest therapy dog friend, Owen! 🇺🇸🐶

Throughout the session, members worked on visual processing and sensory processing through our goal-based activities while getting to know Owen. It was a fun way to celebrate the holiday and welcome a new four-legged friend. We can't wait to see Owen continue building connections with the members during future visits! ❤️💙
