Meet the Team Monday!🐴

This week, we’re highlighting two special members of the Pawsitive Friendships family: Daphne and Dante!

These lovely mini horses and their handlers, Arlene and Roger, have been volunteering with Pawsitive Friendships for nearly 10 years! Arlene shared some of Daphne and Dante’s funniest habits and how they love to bring smiles to the kids and adults we serve. 💙

We had such a nice visit with the students at Starlight Behavior Academy! 💜

Violet and Maverick stopped by to spend some time with them. This was actually Violet’s first visit, and she did great! Maverick got plenty of attention too and had a chance to show off some of his tricks. 🐴🐶

Thank you Starlight Academy for having us out and making Violet’s first visit such a good one!

There have been some great personalities visiting Desert Trails Elementary School - PVSchools! 🐾

Students enjoyed the sweet company of Winnie the Golden Retriever and Mabel the Goldendoodle. They also got to meet Scout the Boxer during his very first visit! Scout brought tons of puppy energy, and students did an awesome job taking turns throwing the ball for him while practicing their participation skills. 💙🐶

Staff at Peckham Inc. have been enjoying some well-deserved decompression time with some Therapy Pets! 🐾💙

Libby, Dotty, Leo, and Rio have all stopped by, giving staff a chance to step away from their workday for a bit, unwind, and enjoy the unconditional love that pets have to offer.

We’re glad our Therapy Teams could give the staff a little time to recharge! 🐶

🐾 Meet the Team Monday!🐾

We’re starting off our new series with Barb and Boz! Barb has been volunteering with Pawsitive Friendships almost since the beginning, with Boz joining her four years ago. 💙

We asked Barb a couple of questions about Boz and what she enjoys about their time volunteering together. She even shared a fun fact about Boz courtesy of Alex, one of the members at Assure Health Care Grp/All Abilities who knows quite a bit about dogs!🐶

There have been some familiar faces stopping by Red Oak Autism Academy for Pet Therapy! 🐾💙

Students have had visits with Cody, Lucky, and Roxy, getting time with each therapy pet throughout their recent sessions. 🫶🙌

We're happy to be spending another school year with the students at Red Oak! 🐶

🎉🐾 Happy Retirement, Barb and Remi! 🐾🎉

We’re celebrating Barb and her sweet Poodle, Remi, as they retire from volunteering with Pawsitive Friendships in Tucson. Remi has always loved being around people and made sure there was plenty of attention to go around during her visits. 💙

Thank you, Barb and Remi, for being part of our Tucson team. You will both be missed, and we wish you a very happy retirement together! 🐶💙
