The Playa del Rey Elementary School STEAM Lab is officially complete, and we were thrilled to celebrate the reveal on May 1!
This new lab gives students a vibrant space to create, explore, design, problem-solve, and discover through hands-on STEAM learning. From building and making to robotics, arts, engineering, and creative thinking, this space will help spark curiosity and innovation for years to come.

The Gilbert Education Foundation is proud to award 40 Innovation Grants totaling $50,000 to educators across 21 Gilbert Public Schools campuses and departments!

This year’s funded projects span a wide range of needs—technology devices, curriculum enhancements, hands-on materials, classroom supplies, and dozens of creative ideas that bring learning to life for our students.

These grants directly support innovative teaching, student engagement, and unique learning opportunities district-wide. We’re incredibly grateful to our donors and community partners who make these moments possible. 💜💚
