On Monday, the MLCC Board of Directors and members of the Chamber had the honor of participating in the Americas Competitiveness Exchange Welcoming Mixer.

What an incredible opportunity to co-host this event alongside Orion Federal Credit Union. Thank you to Andre Fowlkes for the invitation and for bringing together such an inspiring group of leaders.

We were proud to welcome 59 delegates from across the Americas to Memphis as they explored innovation, economic development, and partnership opportunities in our city.

Events like this continue to showcase the strength, diversity, and collaborative spirit of Memphis and the Mid-South community.

On Friday, the Mid-South Latino Chamber of Commerce (MLCC) attended the “Bridging the Gap: AI and Health Equity” breakfast panel at the FedEx Event Center at Shelby Farms Park.

The discussion brought together leaders from healthcare, technology, and the community to explore how artificial intelligence can help advance health equity and improve access to care.

We were especially proud to see two outstanding Latina leaders on the panel — Andrea Jacobo from the City of Memphis and Kayla Rodriguez Graff, Co-Founder & CEO of SweetBio — representing our community and contributing to such an important conversation.
