๐ Empowering Women Veterans Through Connection ๐
This weekend, Operation Second Chance was honored to support the Women Veterans Engage (WVE) 2026 Conference at the National Veterans Memorial & Museum in Columbus, Ohio.
Sixty-seven women veterans, service members, caregivers, survivors, and supporters came together for a day of connection, learning, encouragement, and community. Through engaging presentations, networking opportunities, resource sharing, and meaningful conversations, attendees were reminded that they are not alone in their journeys.
Women veterans often face unique challenges during and after military service. Events like Women Veterans Engage create opportunities to build supportive relationships, share experiences, discover resources, and strengthen the sense of belonging that is so important to overall well-being.
Operation Second Chance was proud to serve as a major sponsor of this event, helping provide lunches, refreshments, event materials, raffle prizes, and other resources that enhanced the experience for attendees. More importantly, we were honored to help create a space where women veterans could connect, feel supported, and continue building a strong community of peers.
A heartfelt thank you to the Ohio National Guard Enlisted Association (ONGEA), Women Veterans Advisory Committee (WVAC), Women Veterans Alliance (WVA), National Veterans Memorial & Museum, presenters, volunteers, and community partners whose collaboration made this event possible.
Most importantly, thank you to every woman veteran who attended. Your service, resilience, leadership, and willingness to support one another are what make events like this so impactful.
At Operation Second Chance, we remain committed to serving veterans and military families by fostering opportunities for connection, healing, growth, and community.
