Yesterday was a strong start the cross country season at the Bob Schul Invitational.

The day started with the high school boys placing 8th out of 30 teams. There were many personal bests, including a new school record by junior Aaron Geswein. He ran a 15:59 to get 4th overall! This record has stood for 14 years and makes Aaron the first Valley View athlete to break 16 in the 5k!

The success continued the junior high team. All 4 participating athletes ran person bests!

Our next meet is Wednesday, Sept. 2nd at the Skyhawk Invite in Fairborn. Hope to see you there!
