Our Story
Each year our Germantown High School Seniors choose a variety of paths to achieve their goals and live their dreams. The Germantown Community Scholarship Fund (GCSF) exists to help graduating seniors reach those goals and dreams.
The Germantown Community Scholarship Fund began raising funds in 1981 to provide scholarships for area high school students. The GCSF awards scholarship money to those graduates who continue their education at a college, university or a vocational/technical school.
A combination of dedicated GCSF board members, community volunteers, and area businesses have enabled the organization to award more than $2.8 million in scholarships to 2,630 Germantown area students over the years. In addition, in 2004, the organization began raising funds for a GCSF Teacher Grant program and has since awarded 59 teacher grants totaling over $31,000.
