Thank you to all that donated to our Meals on Wheels Collaboration for Valentine’s Day!! 💖

We have assembled all the gift bags and they started being delivered to the clients of the program today! Over 60 bags were made. We hope they are as excited to receive them as we were in creating them! 😊

I’ve included a few pictures in the short video below about why the Meals on Wheels program is so important.
If you are interested in volunteering for MoW, they are looking for people to bring smiles to the home bound older adults in our community.

❤️❤️3rd Annual Valentine’s Day Collection for the clients of the Meals on Wheels program.❤️❤️

FTC has once again partnered with our local Meals on Wheels organization that serves the Frankfort and Mokena area as well as the Frankfort Township Food Pantry to bring a sweet surprise to some of clients of the Meals on Wheels program to let them know that the community is thinking of them.
THE NUMBER OF CLIENTS HAS GREATLY INCREASED THIS YEAR.

This year, our goal is to give each client a handwritten note along with a magnetic notepad, pen, and a few sweet treats.

We would greatly appreciate and welcome any contributions of the following items by February 6th:

❤️Homemade or store bought cards❤️
❤️sugarless candy❤️

The Frankfort Township Charities would like to thank the community for all of the support you gave us in 2022!
We were able to assist many community members and their families in need this year due to your generosity. It is greatly appreciated. ❤️

Our Christmas holiday event was a huge success. Our thanks to Meijer, Mokena Fire Department, Immanuel Lutheran Church of Mokena, and all of the community members who donated items or monetarily. We would not have been able to provide some of our resident families and their children with such a wonderful holiday season without you.

We have more events and activities planned for 2023!

Good morning!! We are still collecting items for our Toy Drive. Please continue to read below if you are interested in contributing.
I’ve also included a break down of the number of children by age. This year, we are hoping to help atleast 86 children in our township.

Ages 0-4=13 children
Ages 5-9=25 children
Ages 10-14=20 children
Ages 15-17= 28 children

🌟🌟SCOUTING FOR FOOD 2022 FOOD DRIVE🌟🌟

The bags have been distributed and the Scouts will be collecting NEXT SUNDAY!! Be sure to have your bag out by 9am please. The Food Pantry is so grateful for any size donation.

⭐️⭐️EXCITING NEWS⭐️⭐️for FRANKFORT TOWNSHIP CHARITIES

After a lot of time, effort, and IT assistance, the Frankfort Township Charities can now accept electronic monetary donations!! The process is actually very simple, fast, and easy.

Located on the front page of the Frankfort Township page is a DONATE button. You may choose any amount you wish. And… an email receipt is sent immediately to you to use for tax purposes.

Rest assured, any and all donations will ONLY be used to assist residents of the Frankfort Township. It may be used to purchase goods the food pantry is low on. We might utilize the funds to purchase items for our Christmas toy drive. We are also in the process of pinpointing additional needs within the community.
