Hang on tight because the experience of the Omak Stampede is something you won’t want to let go!
It’s known that the Omak Stampede and World Famous Su***de Race is a favorite in the beautiful evergreen state. That’s not just because of its rich history with the Colville Tribes or its traditions that continue to tell their stories, but because of the people and community that stand behind this unbelievable rodeo. The Omak Stampede would not still be what it is without the hundreds of hands that play a role in its preservation and production, and the fans that come back each and every year.
40+ queens were in attendance this year to experience everything Omak has to offer, from a round of golfing (much easier said than done), the rodeos museum, to looking down the top of the su***de hill for a glimpse of the bravery those rides have to come down it each night. It is one I will always remember and come back to for years to come.
Thank you to Vanessa Pershing, and her royalty hospitality crew for all of their efforts in making our weekend what it was. The best horses were provided by even better people, Kayla, Addy and Amanda, I’m ever so grateful to get to ride quality horses everywhere I go! And of course to the Omak Stampede Board, for your unwavering and continuous dedication to enriching people’s lives through their time in Omak and continuing to uphold the traditions and history that you were founded on.
