Another great community event this weekend! Oakland Presbyterian Church is having a BBQ fundraiser AND a yard sale on Saturday!

You can go check out Cleveland FFA Chapter’s Ag Fest AND then head over to Oakland for their yard sale! Both are great supporters of CABPB!

Don’t miss Cleveland FFA Chapter’s Ag Fest THIS SATURDAY! They will have a ton of vendors, plants from the greenhouse and items made by local FFA members! If you loved the chairs at the gala, they have some additional items for sale!!

PLEASE consider attending Saturday to support this awesome chapter that shows up every time CABPB needs volunteers, food donations, sponsors and anything else to support us!!

And that’s a wrap!

Today was our last bagging event of the school year! Our amazing volunteers created 2,384 bags today!!!! That’s 1,067 spring break bags and 1,317 weekend bags. This will get our students through spring break and the remainder of the school year!

We are extremely grateful for the community support CABPB receives. From individuals, families, school organizations, churches, youth groups, sports teams, businesses, community groups, and even our local Food Lion, this could not exist without the support we receive from our local community.

To those who have made financial contributions, food donations, helped with Saturday food pick up, volunteered to bag, picked up and delivered the bags to our schools, we say THANK YOU! You are the ones that make this possible!

As always we are extremely thankful for Oakland Presbyterian for all their support and partnership! ❤️

Thank you to everyone that helped with our bagging on Sunday!!! We had a smaller crowd, but we did big things!

Our next bagging is BIG one and we need your help!! Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 29th at 2pm!!! We will be bagging for the end of the school year AND our Spring Break cinch backpacks with full-size items!!!

We are grateful for the community support!

Dear Families,

Mark your calendars and get ready for a wonderful evening of fun, music, and sweet memories at our Sweetheart Dance on **Friday, February 27th!**

Event Times:
Kindergarten–2nd Grade: 5:30-7PM
3rd–5th Grade: 7:30–9:00 PM

We have an exciting night planned for everyone!

🎶 Apex will be our DJ, keeping the dance floor full and the energy high.
🎨 A face painter will be on-site to add extra sparkle and fun! Please note this is an outside vendor with pricing clearly displayed. Both cash and card will be accepted.
📸 A special photo area will be set up so you can capture all the sweet memories from the evening.

🍔 JJW's Smoke Shackwill be serving a delicious menu for families who would like to purchase dinner. Tables will be available inside for dining, and both cash and card are accepted.
🍋 Squeeze the Day Lemonade will also be selling refreshing drinks, with indoor seating available. Cash and card accepted.
💧 The PTA will be selling water bottles, candy, crafts, fun party items, and more to help make it the perfect dance night. Cash and card accepted.

This event is FREE to attend. An adult must remain with their child for the duration of the dance.

Giving Back:
We will be accepting donations of dry pantry goods and individually packaged snacks at the door to support CCleveland Area Backpack Buddies Your generosity helps make a difference for local families in need.

Attire:
Dress as casually or as formally as you’d like—just please ensure attire is appropriate for a school function.

Successful bagging today!! Thank you to Food Lion for helping us get our order together and thank you to Oakland Presbyterian Church for hosting us again. We are so thankful for your partnerships. We appreciate all the volunteers today, also! We literally could not do it without you!!!

We had a busy day today getting ready for our bagging tomorrow! A HUGE thank you to our volunteers today and Food Lion for all their help accommodating our order!! We are so blessed by our community.

Thank you to the Cleveland HS Cheerleaders that volunteered and helped count various items in the store, load cars and help us prepare for tomorrow’s bagging!

WE HAVE OUR TOTAL!!! With a grateful heart, we can officially announce that our grand total raised at our Hungry Hearts Gala is $42,000!!!! We are so beyond grateful and thankful for all of our community support.

Thank you all for every penny donated, as it makes more of a difference than you know!
