G.E.A.R. Inc. provides support to children of incarcerated parents, while also providing a safe & trusting program for them and their custodial parent. Johnson.

"Get One,Teach One, Save One" is the mission. Keeping them out of the prison cycle is the GOAL! -501c3 ( Generations Empowered and Restored) is a local non-profit community organization founded by Pastor and Life Coach Anita M. Helping youth thrive in their own potential and God given talent is one of my purpose driven goals. In my volunteering I have worked with many youth and found they all needed something different from me; thereby pushing them to see in themselves what I see. As a mother myself, aunt, and cousin I take this platform very seriously as I believe in depositing into home first. Whether it be in church, in the community, or in a random meeting place, when given the opportunity I show the love of Christ and give an encouraging word to a young boy or girl. My goal is to help children and parents alike who have been affected by incarceration and/or teen pregnancy. I find it very disturbing that our youth are dying in the streets and teen pregnancy is on the rise as the graduation rate decreases. will do all it can to change what we see, to bring a solution for the lost and abandoned. I set out to not only empower and restore generations NOW, but for generations to come as my organization will bring children and parents together from all diverse walks of life. All of this for a common social goal, HOPE for their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generations. With God we will have victory!
