🙌🙏 We wanted to reach out to everyone today and express our gratitude with A HUGE THANK YOU! FROM US AND THE BUNNIES! 🥰🐰

We are absolutely overwhelmed with gratitude. Because of the incredible generosity of our supporters, North Texas Rabbit Sanctuary has raised $7,169 from 42 amazing donors during North Texas Giving Day this year! 🎉🐇

That number represents so much more than dollars raised. It represents 42 people who chose to stand behind and support the rabbits who need us most. ❤️

Every donation helps us provide the rabbits in our care with the things they deserve — medical treatment when they are sick or injured, proper nutrition, daily care and supplies, safe shelter, and most importantly, the opportunity to find a loving forever home. 🏡🐰

Many of the rabbits who come through our doors have experienced neglect, abandonment, illness, or simply had nowhere else to go. Your generosity gives us the ability to say “yes” when a rabbit needs help. It allows us to give them the care they need today while working toward the happy ending they deserve tomorrow.

🐰 Meet Kristolf.
Kristolf is only 7 months old and is exhibiting signs of megacolon. We are currently medicating him, keeping him clean, monitoring him, and doing everything we can to help him get healthy enough that someday he may be able to find a loving forever home.

But we also have to be realistic about his future.

If Kristolf isn’t able to be adopted, he will always have a home here at the sanctuary. ❤️

Your donations help make that possible. They help us continue caring for rabbits who need a little—or sometimes a lot—more than an average rabbit.

🐰 And then there’s sweet Rebecca.

Rebecca’s forever-home mama passed away. Her family was planning to release Rebecca into a park because they didn’t know what else to do.

Thankfully, someone cared enough to find another way.

A kind friend brought Rebecca to our sanctuary and left her safely at our front door. Along with her was a donation and a beautiful letter explaining what had happened and apologizing for having to leave her that way because she was flying back home that very morning.

That moment could have been the end of Rebecca’s story.

Instead, it became the beginning of a new one. ❤️

Today, Rebecca has a safe place. She has food. She has care. She has people who love her. And she has the opportunity for a second chance and, hopefully, a forever home.

THIS is what your donations make possible.

They help us say YES when a rabbit has nowhere else to go.

They help us provide medical care when a bunny is sick.

They help us feed and care for the rabbits every single day.

They help us improve the sanctuary and provide a safe environment while we work to find loving forever homes.
