Knox County Farm Bureau

Knox County Farm Bureau “Promote the understanding of agriculture in our community to improve the profitability of farmers and enrich the quality of life in Knox County”

Originally organized to provide education and general farm improvement for members, the Farm Bureau® has evolved into assisting farmers with legislative issues, providing leadership opportunities, furnishing information services and products, and educating the general public about the agriculture industry. The Farm Bureau® is a powerful and respected voice for farmers and others who have an intere

st in agriculture. Since it’s beginning, the Farm Bureau has built its membership from those who join voluntarily. The Knox County Farm Bureau® began in 1918 with 370 members, but has grown to over 3,000. It is through the leadership of the organization, and from our volunteers' time commitment that drives the organization to accomplish all that we do. The organization functions in various capacities for all of our members, but everything that the organization does is done with our members best interests in mind. The organization's Committees and Task Forces provide our members with many programs, functions and opportunities that benefit Knox County's farmers, their operations, the ag industry and the entire community.
