This Thursday, August 27, will be our last time to set up our table to receive donations for our Campaign this month. You can, of course, drop off your offerings anytime, but we would like to have as much as possible by then so we can begin compiling a grand total to announce on Sunday. Come and celebrate with us what God is doing in and through the EBMC.

Hey everyone! There will be an Orientation Meeting at Catalyst Church on August 27th at 9:30am. This is a great opportunity to come and see what kind of programs and resources are available to people in need in Etowah County. If you know of anyone that could use some of these resources, send them on over!

Praise report!! We had our first Bridge participant come in yesterday, to continue on their path to Stability! She was able to exchange her points for everything that she needed!

Week 2 of our Etowah Baptist Missions Center Capital Campaign Drop Off was a blessing! Board members Pastor Ryan Morris from First Baptist Hokes Bluff and Jamie McGlaughn passed out cupcakes to our neighbors and sponsors today. We had 2 “Bridge Builder” donations dropped off. A “Bridge Builder” Sponsor is an individual or business who donates $1000 toward the capital campaign. Those funds help to spur along the operations that will provide our neighbors relief, rehabilitation and restoration. Thank you to The City of Southside and Mayor Joey Statum for your donation. We also enjoyed a visit from former board member Rose Marie Allenstein who also dropped off her “Bridge Builder” donation from Allenstein and Allenstein, LLC You too can commit to become a “Bridge Builder” Sponsor at the link below. Donations of any increment all help to reach our goal of $100,000!

These funds will allow Etowah Baptist Missions Center to reach our community and build bridges for Relief-Hope, Rehabilitation-Stabilization to Restoration-Opportunity. Help us help others see true transformation in their lives. This week kicks off our “Bridges to Life” Capital Campaign for the month of August. Each Thursday this month we will have a special station for you to come by and drop off your capital campaign donations. If you come by between 9:30-11:30 you will get to meet one of our EBMC Board Members and have some refreshments. Thanks to Board Members Todd Hindsman-President, Pastor Chris Terrell from White Springs Baptist and Treasurer Jamie McGlaughn for hosting our refreshments today. Individuals, businesses and churches can participate by making your donation in person or at our website via the link below.
