Today was AMAZING!
We were able to meet the needs of over 500 kiddos. Through the generosity of our community, we were able to provide 200 backpacks with school supplies, clothing, shoes, under clothes,  hygiene bags, and lots of other goodies. We provided each child with a shopping bag and they had a blast picking out their stuff.

We had 4  hairstylist and 2 barbers show up and give their all to each child who received a haircut. That’s right… 6 heroes who these kids will always remember took the time to care for them. Some who had never received a haircut by a professional until today🥰.

KIDS CLOTHING NEEDED…all sizes!!!

We are collecting new or gently used clothing and shoes for our Back to School Outreach…sizes 3T to 2X. We will be serving all ages. Other items needed are socks, underclothes,accessories, backpacks and school supplies.

Family size shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and body wash or soap are needed as we will be giving each family a hygiene bag.

Please drop off at your convenience on Monday, Wednesday or Friday anytime between 10:00 and 4:00. Your donation towards this event would be a blessing to a family in need. We are expecting a big turnout!

✂️ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! ✂️

The Freedom Center is preparing for our Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, and we’re looking for barbers and hairstylists who would be willing to donate their time to serve our community.

We’ll be providing FREE haircuts for children and families as they prepare for the new school year, and we’d love for you to be part of making a difference.

This outreach will also include free clothing, shoes, backpacks, school supplies, and hygiene bags for families in need.

If you’re a barber or stylist who has a heart for serving others and can volunteer for all or part of the event, we’d love to hear from you!

We were so thankful to have the opportunity to celebrate and serve our men guests yesterday in honor of Father’s Day. They each were gifted a billfold, rechargeable flashlight, and a card. 

The snack table and snackle boxes were a hit!

Our prayer is that EVERYONE felt seen, valued, and loved.

THANK YOU to all the volunteers for your hard work. The lunch was delicious😊
