Darden Rehabilitation Foundation held its annual bass fishing tournament on September 19,2026. A total of 65 anglers participated, bringing 128 bass to the scales with a combined weight of 305.27 pounds. The winning catch weighed 19.83 pounds, and the tournament’s biggest fish weighed 6.53 pounds. Congratulations to all the winners!!

Help us celebrate another long-time employee! T.J. Burford has been with Darden for 26 years providing Vocational Evaluation (VE) testing to youth and adults with disabilities. This VE testing is used to help people with disabilities obtain suitable employment and contributes to our consumers reaching their maximum potential. Recently, T.J.’s VE reports were recognized on a statewide level and are being held up as a model for other Vocational Evaluators to emulate. Thanks to T.J. for all she does and her hard work and dedication in serving people with disabilities!

Darden is hiring! We are in need of a part time Community Employment Specialist/Pre Employment Transition Instructor for the Marshall County area.
Duties: Job Preparation, Job Placement & Job Retention to people with disabilities. Teach job readiness skills, develop job leads with employers and consumers.
Skills: Good communication, computer, organization, networking and problem solving. Must be a self-starter, motivated and confident in talking to employers, HR staff, managers, school personnel etc.
