Changing lives!! We strive to match individuals with special needs with a companion pet, enriching the lives of both the person and the pet, a truly symbiotic relationship! We select and develop homeless, rescued and abused animals to be our companion pets based on a lengthy intake and observation process (see the general information section for in-depth detail of this process.) y animals are developed, trained and socialized specifically for placement with a person with special needs, offering the individual their unconditional love and compassion. We believe greatly in the healing power and quality of life value and benefits of pet therapy. Community Guidelines:
The Hidden Angel Companion Pets is a subsidiary of the Christopher Douglas Hidden Angel Foundation and is a non-profit 501(c)3 and operates as such. We are thrilled to hear Ringling Bros. Circus will be closing the curtain on their long standing history in exploitation of big cats, elephants, horses, and many other species. We hope this is a sign for the future and will raise the standard of circus performances everywhere, NO MORE ANIMAL ACTS!
