Gadsden Kiwanis Club

Gadsden Kiwanis Club is the local division of the Kiwanis International. The Gadsden Kiwanis Club has been serving Gadsden and Etowah County since July of 1919!

Gadsden Kiwanis is most known for the annual Pancake Day, held the third Saturday of February. Gadsden Kiwanis also hosts the Annual American Flag Display program and the Gadsden Christmas Parade!

Wednesday’s meeting introduced us to the new Salvation Army duo, Daniel and Amanda Jones.

New member J. Jenkins was also welcomed into the club!

Today we welcomed 2 new members and a brilliant pair of health professionals as our speaker duo. Surgical Associates opens Monday for general surgeries under the care of Dr. Katie Novitski, MD, MPH (General Surgeon) and Nurse PractitionerJessica Robertson, CRNP. There will be other surgeons in the group. Glad to welcome these folks to Gadsden!

We had a Great Day at Kiwanis today celebrating the 70th Birthday of Lamar Smith! A longtime member of over 40 years. He is a legacy member. His Grandfather was a Charter Member of our Club in 1919, his father was a member for many years.
When you think of Kiwanis, you think of Lamar.
Happy Birthday to Lamar Smith and thank you for all you do and have done for Kiwanis!
