n the challenges before us. The movement includes exploring areas that will offer an opportunity for LYN to bring in people from all arenas to coalesce and expand upon a common need that exists to serve the many and advance initiatives that will have a lasting and indelible impact on the quality of life of any area that appears to be on the margins of life. Every man, woman, boy, and girl in Etowah county is invited to be a “FRIEND OF LYN”. LYN has formalized the movement down to manageable units called Advisory Teams led by community leaders. Those leaders are coalescing with many others to identify unmet needs in the community and advance a corrective action plan that will provide manpower, resources, money, equipment and technical skills to achieve remedy, thereby fulfilling the purpose of the LYN mission.
