sa International continues the tradition of offering membership to selected leaders in a non-partisan, non-secretarian club which provides opportunities for community service and which promotes career advancement and improvement of the status of women worldwide. The mission of Altrusa International of Etowah County is to promote, cultivate, and maintain high ideals of friendship, service, and community awareness; to improve literacy worldwide and to preserve our environment for future generations.
