Etowah CARES We are a non-profit organization called Etowah Community Alliance for Revitalization, Economic Development and Schools.

Etowah CARES’ missions are to promote and advance policies and practices consistent with economic development, revitalization, and educational expansion and excellence and to provide informational services regarding community issues in pending or proposed action by governmental entities and public agencies in Etowah County, Alabama.

We had a great time at our annual Christmas breakfast at Exchange Bank yesterday. We received updates from our President, Sarah Kathryn Haller, including an announcement of this week’s check presentation to Gadsden Police Department for the purchase of an e-bike. Thak you to Sarah Kathryn for her service this year, to Exchange Bak for hosting us, to Ms. Gale for the breakfast, and to Destin Mince for stopping by as The Grinch. Looking forward to next year as Jeff Johnson begins his year as President.
