We had an extra special lesson at ClubONE Windsong this week. We welcomed a special guest to come talk to the students about his mission trip to Japan. We are so thankful to our volunteer - Rob Yzquierdo's son, Davian for sharing with our students. It was so special to hear from a real life missionary to make our series on missionaries come to life.
We still have 3 more weeks of ClubONE after fall break. It's not too late to join us!!!

Today we continued our lessons on missionaries and learned about Jesus calling Matthew the tax collector. In stations the kids also learned about Joni Eareckson Tada - a painter who uses her mouth to paint due to the inability to use her arms. She paints mainly Christian images and therefore is evangelizing using her talent.
It's always such a fun day at stations learning how to use our bibles, hiding scripture in our hearts and playing games related to our stories. We still have 4 more weeks for this semester, it's not too late to join us. We would love to have more volutneers too!

We had an incredible day at ClubONE Windsong yesterday. We had a full lesson learning about a modern day missionary - FORREST FRANK. To figure out our lesson topic, our 5th grades were asked to taste test some lemons 😂 The students learned about his miraculous healing from a broken back, the song he wrote called Lemonade and how he preaches Jesus at his concerts. The kids enjoyed lemonade during stations, singing Forrest Frank songs during worship (including Lemonade) and got to take home their own LEMON stress ball. 🍋
It was a memorable day!!! ❤

Week 2 of ClubONE Windsong was extra fun! Kids learned about the calling of the first disciples and how they were told to become fishers of men. We've been enjoying our stations this year - especially love seeing all of them learning how to navigate their bibles! Everyone went home with a mini foam finger with this words "Let's Go!" to remind them that Jesus is calling them to come and make fishers of men too.
It's not too late to join us!

Great kick off to Right Now at FHS this morning. Mark your calendar for the next one on 10/6!
A huge thank you to Pete Wise for opening his classroom to us and for Mary Wise helping us get this off the ground each year. We are also so thankful for the pastors, youth pastors and volunteers that make this happen and pour so much into these students.
