Please join us at Clovis Community College Herndon Campus in Clovis, California for our June Monthly Luncheon with guest speakers Annalisa Perea and Gabriela Gonzalez.

Annalisa Perea has spent 15+ years shaping Fresno as a city planner and now as a City Council member, working on housing, public safety, and the kind of infrastructure decisions that affect everyday families. Gabriela Gonzalez brings that same ground-level impact through civil engineering, designing transportation systems across California while leading mentorship initiatives for women in the field. They are married, raising three kids in Fresno, and show up every day for the community they call home.

Congratulations to our owners, Blake Casares and Ferol Garcia, for being honored as The Most Inspiring Woman-Owned Business by the at their 3rd annual Women In Business Awards. It was a meaningful honor given that manufacturing is still heavily male-dominated. You go, girls!

We had a great time at our Member Connect hosted by Christ Nottingham at in Fig Garden! With over 25 women and men in attendance, we decided to sit outside so we wouldn't take over the entire restaurant 🤭

It was a great way to start our Friday off and we loved seeing so many new connections made.

If you are a member, you can host your own member connect! This is a great way to connect with other members in an informal setting. Check out the website to get yours set up.

This morning, some of our board members and chamber members joined the .ca for the Mayor's Breakfast. Mayor Vong Mouanoutoua reminded us of the many blessings we have in our country, his journey here to America, and how strong our city is. It was a wonderful morning surrounded with so many who love this great city.

We showed up and represented at the State of the City. Mayor Jerry Dyer delivered his annual State of the City address—offering a comprehensive look at where Fresno stands and where it’s headed. “Fresno is under construction—in the best way possible,” said Mayor Dyer.

On Monday, our Board was invited to the scholarship lunch in honor of our scholarship recipient, Idalia Rodriquez. Idalia is the Chamber’s Scholarship Recipient for the 2025 – 2026 academic year. She told us:

"I am very grateful to have been chosen as a recipient of the scholarship, which really means a lot, knowing I have support from those around me as I navigate college as a first-generation (college) student."

We had a wonderful time learning all about Idalia, her goals and aspirations, shared with her our new student membership that will be coming soon, and invited her to join us at our next luncheon.
