DAV Nebraska Chapter 18 - Fremont

On Tuesday morning, October 21, 2025, ten members of the Innocent's Society, University of Nebraska in Lincoln, came to the local DAV building in Fremont. They donated their time to do some heavy moving, painting, and cleaning. Their contribution of time and energy was, to say the least, very much appreciated. https://innocents.unl.edu/ This group of individuals was so helpful, cooperative, and selfless today. They are a group of individuals who set a great example to follow, and will no doubt be positive contributors as they walk thru life. Thank you again. DAV Chapter 18, Fremont, Nebraska.

DAV Chapter 18 Fremont is looking for stationary chairs, not on wheels, for our newly remodeled community center. We would like covered in cloth, some padding. As many as 50 ? Anybody know of a possible source ? Money is thin at this time, donations are much appreciated. The end goal is to rent out the south side of 137 North 'D' St. This is not a money making venture, but rather to provide for the DAV mission, which is to help any veterans with their needs. Veterans provided for our freedom. The DAV simply wants to give back in any way possible, Thanks

DAV Nebraska Chap #18-Fremont, regular monthly meeting Wednesday night, September 10, 2025 starting at 6pm. Veterans, guests are welcome to attend.
Rise & Shine Donuts is providing free donuts for our weekly donut and coffee get together, also Sept. 10, 2025, Wednesday, 9-11am. Veterans and guests are welcome to visit. Come see our recently remodeled community room. We like to share laughs and good stories and make new friends.

Fremont police will be the guest speaker at our monthly DAV-Disabled American Veterans meeting, this Wednesday, August 13th, 6pm. An overview of the use of electric scooters, electric bicycles on the streets of Fremont will be presented. The public is invited to attend. If needed, parking is available on the grass lot northwest of the DAV building located at 137 North 'D' St.
