We’ve been a bit quiet on our social media the last few weeks with Carrie traveling and Kelly holding down the fort 💪

But get ready - it’s about to pick right back up with the Craftsman Legacy Scholarship Reverse Raffle event coming your way! We’ve also got our first ever Realtor Roundtable right around the corner, the Parade of Homes Gala (tickets anyone?), and our Fall Clay Shoot with gun raffle included … Fall is going to be busy and FUN at the FCHBA!

Happy Monday, friends! We’re posting this little reminder about the social we have coming up this Thursday from 5:30-7:30pm, here at The Venue at South Main. This social is unique in that its focus will be all about GIVING BACK!

One thing Kelly and I have come to know about our HBA members - you guys are very kind and love to be generous. Sponsored by Julie Wright Realty Group, this social will have all the normal hang out time, networking opportunities, plus food and spirits. But our time together will also be marked by some of our best local leaders sharing thoughts and ideas on how we can make a difference in the very community we live in.

August’s newsletter dropped last week - but Carrie & Kelly were out of the office 🏝️ so we’re just now posting to our socials.

Here’s a quick recap of important dates:

* 8.20: Giving Back Social - this social is all about connecting with each other and our community. We’ll have all the usual things that make a great HBA social - awesome good, drinks, & people - PLUS a few community leaders who will point us in the direction of generosity and making an impact.

* 9/15: Craftsman Legacy Scholarship Reverse Raffle event. This is our annual fundraiser supporting the next generation of tradesmen & women from right here in Franklin County. Meet the 2026 scholarship recipients and take a chance on winning some 💵 to take home yourself. Tickets are currently being sold by the HBA and our Board of Directors. Reach out for a ticket (or several)!!

*EXTENDED - we’re still accepting entries for Coming Soon and Beyond the Parade houses, as well as Ads from local businesses. That window is closing quickly, so if you want to put something in the Parade of Homes Magazine, now is the time!

Join us for a laid-back HBA social on August 20 at The Venue at South Main, focused on one of the things that makes our community special - PEOPLE WHO GIVE BACK.

Enjoy an evening of good conversation, networking, and a little inspiration as we hear from local leaders with the Miracle League, Boys & Girls Club, and Franklin County Sheriff’s Office about the difference they’re making right here at home.

Here’s the plan:
🕠 5:30–6:00 PM — Food, drinks & networking
🎤 6:00–6:30 PM — Community presentations
🤝 6:30–7:30 PM — More networking & good conversation

Come hang out, meet some great people, learn a little about the organizations making a difference in our community, and leave inspired to GIVE BACK.

🗓️ August Hours at Franklin County HBA Office 🗓️

We’ve got a few changes to our office hours for the month of August. Carrie & Kelly will be in and out for several trips and work conferences - so be sure to check the hours before you pop by!

Even though the hours will be different, we highly recommend dropping in during the open dates mentioned above!

Why??

Your HBA Board of Directors members will be covering the office hours those days. We know they’d LOVE to have visits from our members.

We say it often - and we really believe it: Franklin Co. HBA members are THE BEST 🏅
