In 2017, God gave ME a vision! In 2018, I launched Prom Treasures Foundation, an organization created to bless the youth of Franklin County (my home county) with FREE prom attire. Through the support of very generous people from every walk of my life as well as complete strangers, PTF has been able to make prom a reality for hundreds of youth in Franklin County and beyond. What I have realized during this time is that while my original intent was to bless others, I was the one who was extremely blessed. I have been deeply touched by the support received, the stories told by recipients as well as the outpouring of their gratitude. People have freely donated their time, efforts, monetary resources, physical items, words of encouragement and prayers during the past seven years and for that I am truly grateful. I have shed so many tears of JOY during this time and learned so much about myself. To God be the Glory!

The time has now come for me to pursue new visions therfore, PTF will have its Grand Finale Event on March 15, 2024.

PTF is in need of your support one last time! We are in need of 100 people to donate at least $20 by March 11, 2024 so that we may reach our goal of making prom a reality for youth in need. If you would like to support our mission you can donate via:

This is my WHY:

My experience with Prom Treasures was amazing! When I first walked in and saw all the different types of prom dresses I was astonished. Trying on different dresses and finding the perfect one was an amazing thing to experience. I can't wait to go to my prom in May in the most perfect dress. I want to thank Towanda for this opportunity. (PTF Student Participant)

My experience with Prom Treasures was great! I watched my daughter try on dresses and find one she really loved. A brand NEW dress completely free. Towanda is so caring and she is amazing for bringing a program like this to Franklin County. It takes some stress off of us not worrying about how we are going to pay for a prom dress. My daughter is excited to go to Prom this year! (PTF Parent Participant)

I love seeing the girls' faces when they find the perfect dress. It's such a wonderful feeling knowing I helped to make someone's day brighter. It literally makes my heart warm and there's no better feeling. The Prom Treasure Hunt is one of my favorite events of the year. (PTF Volunteer)

Special thanks for your prayers, financial contributions, physical donations, time and efforts. Due to your generosity, 30 plus young ladies were blessed with everything they need to make their prom dreams come true!
