Under white, cloudy skies, the annual Franklin Christmas parade on Saturday, Dec. 6, was quite the merry event, as thousands lined Main Street to enjoy the holiday tradition.

PARADE JUDGE SPOTLIGHT 🌟: Long before Franklin was named one of America’s most charming towns, Rudy Jordon saw what it could become.

With her unshakeable determination, Rudy — along with a small group of visionaries — helped rebuild and reimagine Main Street when few believed it could be done.

As former Executive Director of the Heritage Foundation and the Downtown Franklin Association, Rudy’s decades-long leadership laid the foundation for the Franklin we treasure today.

We’re deeply honored to have this living legend, Rudy Jordon, as a judge for the 2024 Franklin Christmas Parade. ❤️🎄

🔥🚗 PARADE JUDGE SPOTLIGHT 🌟: Tommy Lee

Meet parade judge Tommy Lee — hot rod builder, musician, storyteller, and all-around Tennessee original.

Owner of RingRods Hot Rod Shop, Tommy is known for crafting one-of-a-kind rat rods inspired by the legacy of his father. His builds have been featured on Moonshiners and in national publications like Rat Rod Magazine, Rod Authority, and Street Muscle.

Before becoming a hot-rod icon, Tommy spent years as a road and studio musician, writing and performing everything from gospel to rock & roll — even commercial jingles. In 2021, he released his country project “Highway 99.”

He’s also created an internationally sold hot-rod instructional video, helping builders around the world bring their own creations to life.

We’re thrilled to welcome this creative powerhouse — on wheels and on stage — to our judges’ table this year! 🔧🎶✨

If you’ve ever admired the charm, character, or historic heartbeat of Williamson County — you’ve felt Mary’s impact.

For more than 40 years, this feisty, red-lipsticked powerhouse has fought (and won!) the battles that kept Franklin Franklin.

She’s helped save:
• The Franklin Theatre
• The Factory at Franklin
• The Old, Old Jail
• The McLemore House
• Acres of battlefield land

Mary doesn’t just protect history — she preserves our identity, our stories, and the soul of this place we love.

We’re deeply honored to have her at the judges’ table this year. ❤️
