I am pleased to report that our organization recently hosted a successful meeting where we awarded scholarships to five outstanding students: Owen Bailey, Zykera Ellsworth, Skylar Hamlin, Ivorotta Ketu, and Aiden Brown. Several members will attend the Zone 2 Summer meeting tonight in Courtland and participate in parking cars at the Franklin-Southampton County Fair on Thursday evening, continuing a long-standing tradition. Our schedule for September includes cleaning Delaware Road and presenting checks to local charities, as well as electing our 2027 club officers and submitting community service reports to the District Governor. We will also celebrate our 78th anniversary in October, marking a significant milestone. These upcoming events demonstrate our organization's commitment to community service and excellence.

To facilitate easier access for valued customers purchasing roasts, please note that I will be stationed at the Hunterdale Home and Garden lot adjacent to Duck-Thru at 5:00 pm, where you can pickup your roast. Driving a red Ford Ranger pickup truck

Roast sales are currently on hold to guarantee availability. Further notification will be provided regarding quantity and allocation will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Thank you.

Typically, our fundraisers do not result in a significant surplus of roasts. This year, however, we do have leftovers. We are offering these roasts for sale at $25.00 each. Interested parties should contact Murray Turner at 757-404-4587. The roasts are pre-cooked and ready for heating and serving. Please note that Murray's phone filters unknown calls due to spam; if you reach his voicemail, leave a message, and he will return your call to confirm the meeting arrangements. Sales are donated back into the community.

Our sincere thanks go to all participants of our 62nd annual Western Beef BBQ. We are pleased to have shared an enjoyable experience with great weather, live music, and good food. We are thankful for the support of our sponsors, which enabled us to host a successful event. The proceeds will be donated back to the community soon through various charities. Congratulations to William Brown on winning the raffle. Mark your calendars for the 63rd annual BBQ on May 15, 2027. Stay tuned for a special deal on leftover roasts, which will be announced later today.

Today marks the significant day. Very few Tickets are still available at Fred's, Southern Charm, and Grayson and Emma's. Purchasing your tickets promptly is highly recommended. Note that drive-through takeout will be available in the parking lot, allowing you to remain in your vehicle. It's a lovely day for a bbq.
