Once again, we gather in the spirit of Revival, Renewal and Unity, graciously blessed by God. This year, we welcome Pastors, Congregations, Men, and Families from Franklin and the surrounding areas to come together with a shared purpose: to reaffirm the bonds that unite us all. Our theme for this year’s event is “RECLAIMING THE FAMILY AND THE FAITH,” a powerful reminder of the importance of these foundational elements in our lives. When Pastors and Congregations unite across racial and denominational lines, we pave the way for profound healing within our NATION, COMMUNITIES, FAMILIES, and CHURCHES.
We invite you to immerse yourself in REVIVAL an atmosphere filled with unity and the free-flowing Spirit of God. It is my heartfelt prayer that each of you will be abundantly blessed by the engaging WORKSHOPS, uplifting PREACHED WORD, inspiring TESTIMONIALS, and the presence of our SPECIAL GUESTS throughout this event.
Mark your calendars for June 16,17,18, as the Franklin Brothers Keepers and Women of Grace, Strength, and Dignity proudly have their 4th Annual City-Wide Revival hosted at the First Baptist Church, located at 318 Hall Street, Franklin, Virginia. Each evening will commence at 7:00 PM with Workshops designed to enrich and empower, followed by Revival sessions. We are excited to kick off this wonderful gathering with Rev. Dr. D. Shawrod Riddick and the Gethsemane Baptist Church, Newport News, Virginia, which will fill our hearts with praise and worship and amazing WORD as HE delivers the Preached Word. Wednesday will feature Pastor Patricia Brown, who will continue with dynamic Praise and Worship and a powerful sermon.
As we move into Thursday, we will have the privilege of engaging with Pastor Joseph Charleston and the First Baptist Church during a meaningful Praise and Worship, culminating in an enlightening message. Together, let us come and experience the transformative power of faith, community, and unity in action. Join us for this transformative occasion as we seek to reclaim the family and faith within our lives and communities.

On January 23, 2026, at the stroke of 11:00 AM, I had the distinct honor of delivering my second Opening Prayer for the House of Delegates, a moment filled with reverence and purpose. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Honorable Nadarius Clark, whose steadfast support and exceptional leadership have significantly enriched this gathering.
In this moment of reflection, I am deeply appreciative of the unwavering prayers and encouragement bestowed upon me by my cherished church family, which includes the devoted members of Old Cool Spring and New Hope Baptist Church. Their relentless commitment to our community is nothing short of inspiring, serving as a beacon of hope and strength.
I am especially thankful for the Franklin Brothers 'Keepers and the Women of Grace, Strength, and Dignity. Their collective efforts not only foster unity within our community but also cultivate resilience in the face of challenges. Together, we humbly stand united in prayer for the well-being of our beloved Commonwealth and our nation as a whole, earnestly seeking divine guidance, wisdom, and abundant blessings for all.
